BABY SNAKE PLANT?!

A week ago I bought home this snake plant. Yesterday I saw this baby plant thingy in its pot. I'm guessing it's a baby sake plant. I'm not sure. It's growing too close to the pot walls as you see. Will this be an issue? Should u shift it to a new pot?

The snake plant in the pot doest not have any variegation. If this is a baby snake plant, will it also have no veriegation?
